Job Description:
Native Bloom Floral is expanding our team and seeking a creative, detail-oriented Floral Design Consultant with a passion for wedding and event design. This is a hybrid design and sales role, responsible for guiding clients from initial consultation through wedding day execution.
The ideal candidate blends an eye for eclectic, high-end floral design with the confidence and polish to lead client conversations, build proposals, and close contracts. Key Responsibilities:
Client Consultation & Sales
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients from inquiry through event completion
- Conduct consultations to understand each client's vision, style, and budget
- Build and present customized proposals and quotes that bring the event vision to life
- Negotiate and close contracts, managing the full sales cycle with professionalism
- Maintain strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction and seamless execution
Floral & Event Design
- Design floral arrangements across an eclectic range of styles, tailored to each client's vision
- Collaborate with team members to refine designs and elevate the client experience
- Develop and maintain floral recipes, manage rental inventory, and order fresh product within budgeted cost targets
- Stay current on trends, techniques, and sourcing in the floral industry
Studio & Event Execution
- Assist with weekly floral processing, stock management, and studio presentation standards
- Serve as on-site point of contact for event setup, breakdown, and strike as needed
- Contribute to a clean, organized, and professional studio environment
Ideal Candidate
- Minimum 4 years of experience in a professional floral setting
- Proven floral design skills across a range of aesthetics, from classic to modern to organic
- Deep knowledge of fresh product, design techniques, and current wedding trends
- Confident in consultations, proposal building (design software experience a plus), pricing, and closing
- Polished, professional presence with a client-first mindset
- Flexible schedule with weekend availability
